Jkara has some stunning evening gowns that have no back zippers, and therefore, must be pulled on overhead. This gown is one of those.It was a concern for me that this gown fit in a flattering way, curve in at the sides, and can be pulled on and taken off without a problem.I ordered this gown in a size 14 the first time to match my waist size. (I had put on some weight as I aged. The under part of the dress is not as "fitted" and has some extra room due to no-zipper, and has some stretch-factor. The sequined fabric on the top is an overlay, and has no stretch).The size 14 was huge on me. So I returned the 14 and ordered the size 10, my usual size for a long evening gown. The size 10 measurements according to the chart, were all a match for me, except the waist. As you can see from the photo, the 10 fit just fine. ??I had no problem pulling it on, and taking it off. I was thrilled. (To take these zipperless dresses off, bend over at the waist, and carefully work the dress up above your bust line first as you are bent over, then pull it off. It works perfectly every time!!)The sequins is absolutely beautiful, and a JKara standard. I totally recommend giving this dress some serious consideration.?????Will wear as mother of the groom - dress fits beautifully with some stretch and easy pull-over design. I like that there is no built-in bra and a "normal" one can be worn with this dress.Beautiful rich plum color. Really liked the scalloped beaded top. But I ordered three slightly similar dress styles from the same designer, all in 8P, and this one was distinctly larger than the others which were a good fit for my 5 ft, 135 lb, 36D frame. At this price point we obviously did not have the highest expectations but it was really disappointing. The skirt is supposed to be a chiffon but was more like a netting. Very ugly fabric and gets caught easily. The top was just ok. Nothing special. We found much nicer dresses for the same price elsewhere.This dress is stunningly beautiful, elegant, well-made, comfortable, and I love it. However, it is far too long for me (5'5") and even with high 4" heels it reached the floor. I was hoping it would be more ankle length as shown. Also the off-the-shoulder are just a bit loose and gape at the back. Sadly, I had to return it.
