Well, to start, I am a city guy. Born in a city, raised in a city, wildly prefer living in a city. I like things like running water, electricity, and immediate access to "entertainment". Go figure that my son wanted to go camping... Not one to back down from a mediocre challenge, the opportunity came when a father / son camp out was proposed by our friend group. Nothing crazy, just some lake swimming, fishing, and sleeping outside. Luckily one of the other dads is an eagle scout. He took care of the food... Another is a fairly successful fisherman. Sweet; got that covered. I'm... Um... Encouraging! And with Amazon, I can get us a TENT!It did not rain, so I have no idea about the water resistance. This pop-up style tent is VERY light weight. Lugging it out to the campsite was practically nothing. And before we left, I tested opening and closing it. It really is as simple as chucking it into the air. Once we got to our buddy's ranch we took a about a 30 minute stroll into the woods and gave it a YEET! I secured it down with the included tent pegs and I felt like right dandy outdoorsman. I hand pumped a queen sized air mattress inside it with plenty of space left for our packs and whatnot. The next morning we woke up smelling like the lake, and were easily the first with our tent packed. (Gather the poles, stand it up like a giant taco with the strap on the ground, pull the top down, fold the sides in and wrap the strap around. DONE!) I think I may have convinced a couple other dads to snag one for their next camping trip. In the end, my son had a fantastic time... That's really what it was all about. Other than the fairly decent poles found on clearance, this was the best purchase I made for the trip. Highly recommended.Just take the tent out of the pouch, slide off the elastic bands and let go - poof, your tent is set up. Putting it back together is a little tricky, so I recommend watching a couple of videos on how to do that, but once you get it then it takes about a minute to fold it up. I like how compact it folds up for a 4 person tent. I use it just for myself because I'm not a fan of one or two person tents and this gives me a lot more room to keep my power station and ice chest inside, even while I sleep. It was summertime when I used it and haven't used it since, so I can't comment on the weather resistance yet.I had a decent amount of rain come by while using this tent out camping. I would recommend getting a rainfly to prop over the top of this guy, it does allow some moisture through but it just sits on the 'roof' without falling down...if it were a bigger storm I doubt it would have held up, if it had a rainfly this would be the perfect tent for a solo trip or a coupleSuper easy to put up, practice at least once putting it away before you go out with it, it isn't hard but you do need to get the technique down...kinda feels like you are going to break it when you force it down but you won't... just watch the videos and try not to worry about accidentally breaking itIt took a you tube video to learn how to fold it. But, I didn't get to use it. There was no camping for me this year. People like to throw empty cans at my tent, so I was hoping for this little bugger to be a bit of protection. It will now sit sullenly next to a wall, waiting, with hope in its flys, for a week of bluegrass. I wouldn't trust it against elements, just against prying eyes to see my extremely gorgeous forearms, and ok bare bottom. For my 1st camping trip I needed an easy to set up tent. This one is it. It just pops up and ready to go. It is not 100% waterproof and my tent was a little wet inside from condensation. It is spacious and 2 adults can easily fit comfortably. The hard part is folding this tent. You need skill and strength. After a while it gets easier. Due to the design it is not quite a compact foldable tent and lays out in a large circle. Would not be good for a backpacking trip.Purchased as a gift, has not been in the rain as yet.I went camping last week with my child and we were the talk of the campground when I set up my tent in less than a minute. It was so awesome to not have the stress of setting up a tent and just having this one pop up in no time. I watched the product video on taking it down properly because you can do it incorrectly, which will result in it folding much larger than it should be. I practiced at home before going camping to make sure I could get it right. The tent looks much smaller than it is. It's a 4 man tent, but unless you can sleep elbow to elbow, I'd say it's more like a two man tent, or one adult and two children. With my daughter and I, we had plenty of room for both of us and my large padded mat, but with more people, you also tend to store your bags and other gear in the tent to keep it out of the elements, which quickly takes up the extra room. I rained on us and we stayed dry and comfortable. If you need a tent for more than 2 adults, get something else. It really is a nice design for the price and unlike any other tent I've owned. This was the perfect size for 2 of us with a twin air mattress and a sleeping mat. Got rained on and stayed dry. We did experience some moisture inside along the top seams but seemed to be condensation, not leakage. Folding it took some time and a bit of effort but we got it after watching a few how-to videos. It was nice being able to move it around easily in our campsite.Super easy to set up. Literally just unwrap the rubber band and it will pop up like magic. Packing was also a breeze and took seconds. It held up in a tropical thunderstorm just fine. Large enough for 3 air mattresses to fit side by side, and very well ventilated. The tent does let quite a lot of light in though, so I would pack an eye mask if you need blackout conditions to sleep. All in all a great buy for hot-weather camping.Tienda muy practica en su instalacion, recomiendo orientarse en tutoriales para su armado y guardado, al final es mu sencilloEs una maravilla, puedes dormir a tus anchas, perfecta para dos personas, justa para tres
