I hate that all of these hidden power strips cost so much money but at least I can say, for the price I paid it works and I'm very happy with it! I'm about halfway done building my husband's desk, the bottom housing of this strip is going to be encased in a small usable cabinet so it will be hidden and my husband gets storage.A couple of notes to other buyers:The wireless charging definitely works but it takes a little bit of positioning when our phones have cases. Without a case it charges immediately. I know some phone cases are rated and made for wireless charging but I don't think ours are.You have to push a little bit hard to get it to pop out. I'm fine with this bc I don't have to worry about it accidentally getting pressed open.It doesn't bother me at all but I will note that it doesn't come all the way open on its own, but I'm talking a couple of inches, shown in photos. It will pop out to about 7inchs by itself and you can pull it open the rest of the way to 9inches.That's about it! It works great! :)I don't like how hard it is to close, so we just leave it up. I still think it's a cool charger and can charge multiple items at one time.I order this for my island didn’t realize it took so much of my counter space because it was so long and not only that after less then 1 year and broke. Decided to try a different pop up outlet and a cheaper one.Photo shows this in a kitchen counter, and instructions say don't get wet. Also, the cord is super finicky. It hardly ever comes all the way up when you want it to. Not as advertised & not practical when you have to reach underneath to help it pop up.Wife likes the white version. The unit provides 3 extra outlets for convenience, 2 USB phone charging ports, and 1 wireless charging station for cell phones.
